Whether pro or beginner – the many different via ferratas and climbing routes don't make it easy for "Kraxler" (as climbers are known here) to choose. There are via ferrata routes in St. Ulrich, Waidring and Fieberbrunn. Over 500 sports climbing routes are available in the area round the Steinplatte in Waidring, with the St. Adolari climbing crag particularly worthy of a mention. Whatever the weather, you can train in the indoor climbing hall at the Familienland leisure park in the neighbouring town of St. Jakob.
